So today's "horn tootn' " project was a custom children's apron order. I was told to make it fun & funky and that the 11 year really liked dogs and was going to have a garden this year with her family. So, when I heard the word "garden", I quickly grabbed this blue and purple flower patterned fabric & whipped this up! I left the butterfly 3D to give it a little pizazz! I wanted the apron to essentially become a work of art, kind of like a painted canvas, so I designed the flowers to flow throughout the apron body. I think it is successful in taking the viewer's eyes all over the apron and to follow the "flight of the butterfly"!
